We each have our own body. Unique, special, different as well as similar.  How we choose to treat them, care for them and even talk to them can make a world of difference in how they work for us. The sessions are focused on YOU.  As well as hands on bodywork you will also receive tips on how to maintain and optimize your body.   Come in and see your body in a different light!

Your goals are the foundation to every session. Primary goals for a massage appointment could be to relieve pain and discomfort, to compliment physical therapy for a recent injury or surgery. Massage can aid in relaxation to benefit physical and mental health, to create space for healing. No matter what your goals are we are here to design a session to fit you, in that moment, on that day.


What does a massage session look like?

All sessions begin with a check in to see how the body feels. You will describe what you're feeling and discuss any insights and history. Your therapist will palpate/touch muscles and check in on ranges of motion. This allows you and them to feel areas of pain and check for movement restrictions.


A relaxation/restoration massage will look like a quiet room with tranquil music, a warm massage table, and deep soothing therapeutic touch. Typically a full body session where the therapist will focus on specific areas of tension. 


A Therapeutic session might involve a little of everything. A bit of Neural Reset to release some areas of tension. Some deep tissue/orthopedic techniques might be used to check in with the hips and shoulders. As well as restoration work to allow the nervous system to relax and incorporate the changes we have made. 


A Neural Reset Therapy session will involve your participation and feedback. This highly effective treatment can be done fully clothed and preformed without having to be prone/on your belly. It involves your movement to release and reduce muscle tightness and tension. Neural Reset Therapy (NRT) requires your feedback to confirm that an actual change has occurred helping to optimize the success of the work.

Massage therapy is best consumed in multiple sessions. Benefits and awareness build session after session. We live in our body 24 hours a day. We invest hours in certain postures and we all have accidents. A one hour session can greatly improve your wellbeing, continuing maintenance using massage therapy allows the body to interrupt our daily practices of flexion and unconscious body usage.
